Labor Market Information

Everyone knows that San Diego's labor market is not doing well.  Some occupations are in great demand but employers have to import workers to fill the positions (check out the number of jobs at Qualcomm for instance.)

Despite the slow recovery for jobs, jobseekers must stay on top of the news to be first in line for the next wave of hiring.  That's where LMI, or Labor Market Information is a term you need to know about.

The following links lead you to LMI in various newsletters, notcies, etcs., on LMI:

www.sandiegoatwork.com San Diego Workforce Partnership, Inc., has one-stop career centers and local occupational outlook data. Look for the "LMI" tab for publications and links.
